Braziliant

This week I'm wearing Essie Braziliant on my nails. I'm in the mood for summer and warmer weather!

This shade is part of Essie's newest spring line. Ulta didn't carry it yet the last time I checked. I found them at Walgreens which is odd because it's technically summer already isn't it? =P

It is so pretty it's a tangerine orange with red tones and pink/gold shimmer which you don't notice unless you stare real hard at the bottle. It is pretty reflective in real life.

I gotta say, this is a pretty bold color. It is more red in real life. It's pretty, and would be a nice addition to any collection. But I think it might look better on my toes than fingers.

Lilac

This week I have Essie Lilacism on my nails, part of the spring collection. It is much lighter than OPI's Do you Liliac It? and way more pastel. This is probably one of my favorite Essie colors thus far.

Application was pretty smooth, a lot smoother than their nude colors for me. Two thick coats was enough, but three coats would have been perfect. Sadly, I've already noticed some chipping and it's only been 2 days! But I'm really digging this shade!

It makes me regret not buying the limited edition Neiman Marcus lilac Balenciaga First that is part of their designer sale. Rumor has it it's around $835-$865

Hello!

Welcome to my new blog dedicated to nail polish. Seems like a relatively simple blog to maintain so I hope to stick around.

I'm currently wearing Essie Fiji, an opaque creamy pale pink. This is Emily Maynard's (Brad Womack's 2nd season of The Bachelor) seemingly favorite nail polish color. It's what she wore all season long! Forums were going nuts trying to figure out what color she wore. I had to visit Ulta three time to get it!

It's a nice neutral color, makes skintones appear tanner than they actually are. Consistency and application are typical of Essie polishes. I find it difficult to get an even layer with Essie, and chipping occurred on day 4.

What are some colors you're loving at the moment?

Thanks for stopping by! =)
